Supermalt was first produced in 1972, originally used by the Nigerian army as a healthy food supplement to re-energise the troops. Its vitamin content along with its sweet and refreshing malt taste meant it grew and grew in popularity
Non-alcoholic malt drinks are made from essentially the same raw materials as beer: water, barley, and hops. Supermalt Original is made in the same way as a quality beer, but without the yeast which gets added to beer to convert sugar to alcohol.
