Montego's Breadfruit

Known as a fruit that could feed the world. This fruit can be eaten raw but you must wait until it is very squishy. The breadfruit is a very filling fruit and is an excellent source of potassium, antioxidants and fiber.<br /><br />It can be baked, fried, roasted or boiled, It goes great with some tomato paste, maple syrup, or on a salad. Typically in Jamaican cuisine it is best paired with the national dish ackee and saltfish.
